How Many Died From Swine Flu Since 2009?

First, this is not to support any conspiracy theories. This is not to support the notion that big pharma conspired to make billions on a worthless vaccine. This just shows a fallacy of human thinking, and the truth of what Mark Twain once said.

There are liars, d(arn) liars and statisticians.

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Profits

What red blooded corporate executive worth his golden parachute would not jump on a chance to make his shareholders barrels of money, even if it is because of numbers hyped by a media starving for revenues.

How is the media going to get otherwise complacent followers unless there is something urgent to follow.

Thus was born the H1N1 Swine Flu Debacle, er eh story, news, I mean crisis.

Here is some of the underlying information on how its going.

From the CDC website, from April to October, there were about 90,000 people who may or may not have had the 2009 H1N1 Swine Flu. Yep, may or may not have had it. This is because all the numbers are estimates. The 90,000 is the range between 73,000 and 163,000 estimated number of those infected.

Think about this. You go to your mechanic and say you need your car fixed and the mechanic says it could cost about $100 to $24,000 dollars to fix your car, give or take a few dollars.

OK, cars and people are not the same. Still, this is like saying the Scranton Pennsylvania population, based on census counts, given the same margin of error, is 76,414 to 166,000 based on scientifically extracted estimates.

Here is the problem. All the numbers are estimates. Guesses. And with that wide of a range, the margin of error has to be great.

As always, just avoiding something because people say it is bad for you, like the swine flu shot, is not wise. You still need to boost your bodies immunity. If not, you just as well get the shot and take your chances of getting a rare neurological disease.

Just a side note, one of the survivors of the last flu debacle who got that rare neurological disease lives and works here in Scranton, PA.

And the natural health people do not always have all the answers either. Some are so religious about their natural health care beliefs that they border on fanaticism. It is as if you take their herbal what ever, you will be preserved alive even if you die.

Sorry, but we are all going to die. Me, personally, I plan on living forever. So far so good.

But, not everything natural is healthful.

Speaking to a woman the other day and warning her of the dangers of colloidal silver turning her skin gray ( a condition called argyria), she said, “Well, I am taking it and it has not turned my skin gray.” Wonderful. A true scientific proof that it is safe.

But wait…what about Rosemary or Stan Jones (the politician).

Or there is the man who took colloidal silver orally about 16 ounces (~ 450 ml) of 450 ppm colloidal silver three times a day for 10 months. He found it improved his arthritis. He stopped when his skin began to turn gray.

There is a gentleman who turned blue from using it on his skin in cream form.

So, if you are using colloidal silver and it has not turned you blue or gray, keep using it. When it does, please drop us a line. Maybe after a number of people are feeling blue from the result of having gray skin, then people will stop taking it.

Oh yes, although colloidal silver is banned for medical use, you can still get it as a supplement. Who sells it. The same people who say that doctors don’t want you to know about it. Sorry, but even the doctors don’t know about it, because it is banned from medical use because it causes argyria.

Until we die (or turn gray or blue as the case may be), become an informed consumer of your own health care.

Good health to you and yours.
