The finding of a double blind study of 100 kids 4-8 years old published in Lancet, it was found that 63 percent of kids diagnosed with ADHD had the disorder because of the foods they eat.
It was not the foods as much as what was in the foods that caused the problems. Children are thought to be sensitive to both additives and the pesticides that end up in some foods.
These include…
- artificial flavors
- added preservatives
- Salicylates (a pesticide added to some food plants)
- sulfites
- artificial sweeteners
- MSG
- and many more.
If this is the result of basic dietary improvements, what would happen if the raw food diet was introduced? What would happen if proper hydration of the body was practiced?
This offers further reasons to start kids on a raw food diet. The underlying cause of many diseases could be simply what we feed our kids.
They need a diet rich in organic plant based fruits, nuts, beans and vegetables.
